Affordable Housing
Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation own a number properties which provide long term, affordable housing to eligible applicants. We maintain our own Wait List for these properties.
These properties are for low to middle income families, couples and singles that are full financial members. Tenants are supported and encouraged to transition into home ownership or private rental market when they have sufficient stability, income and financial management.

Long Term Community Housing Program (Department of Housing) (LTCHP):
The LTCHP program provides nine (9) low-cost, income-based rental accommodation for tenants in very high need who are listed on the state housing register, ie. This program requires applicants to be registered with the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works.
Income-based rent is calculated using the Queensland Governement's Community Housing Rent Policy.
Emergency / Transitional Housing
Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation manage limited emergency accommodation under the Brisbane City Councils ‘Community Housing Partnership Project”. These part-furnished properties are used to provide short-term tenancies transitioning to secure housing.
