Winnam Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders is an enterprising community organisation that is a holistic service provider for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders community in the Wynnum and Bayside Suburbs of Brisbane. These are within the boundaries of the Quandamoooka country areas. Winnam also manages an aged care facility that is for, but not limited to, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island People - The Georgina Margaret Davidson Thompson Hostel in Morningside, Brisbane.

Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation celebrates 25 years

A quarter of a century ago, a hundred dollar donation and a whole lot of determination were the catalysts for the formation of the Winnam Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation.

It's an organisation that's helped countless people into homes.

Fast forward to today and the corporation has built up $17 million in assets.

They're celebrating the 25 years of operation this weekend.
